“ Omg. First time visit. Staff. Environment and omg the food is incredibly tasty and just perfect. Loved the flavors b ”
“ Saw a post about a promotion at this restaurant on the Go Downtown Kenosha Facebook page and thought we’d give it a try. We sat at the bar with Kenny our bartender. Had great drinks, dinner (prime rib-giant cut) and service. Location is great. The restaurant and surrounding hotel is very nice and very clean. We will be back. ”
“ My girlfriend and I stopped in because we were looking for a nice dinner and good vibe in the small town of Kenosha. I’m not from here so I googled dinner in the city. It was in the stars that we were directed to 1844. We didn’t have a reservation but we didn’t really need one because it wasn’t that busy (5pm). We decided to sit at the bar because that’s always our preference. Andrew was our bartender and let me tell you...he was amazing! My friend and I told him what spirits we liked and he made us cocktails that were 100% spot on to our taste. The food we ordered was 5 stars as well. We had the stacked chicken and salmon entree. Amazing experience all around. I’ll definitely be back! ”
“ The food is absolutely delicious and exquisite, the service is second to none, immediate and accommodating. The calm and relaxing ambiance is exactly what you need to unwind after the hectic work week. This place will make every cent you spend absolutely worth it. Best believe you'll want to come back over and over again. ”
“ Gourmet cuisine and a bougie atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. My husband and I will definitely return. ”
“ This was my first time at this restaurant. The building and restaurant are very nice. I had the Friday fish dinner, which was excellent. I asked for it to be broiled, and it was done perfectly. I added a little salt to the frys and couldn't stop eating them. If you're looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere and somewhat upscale, this is for you. ”
“ I was very impressed with the beautiful atmosphere of this restaurant. I visited 1844 Mash & Table for a cocktail and light dinner. The decor is tasteful and upscale. It has a nice combination of vintage and modern. My garden strawberry fizz cocktail was delicious, as was the house salad. The waitress offered us a few rounds of either pretzel rolls, pumpernickel rolls, or focaccia bread. The menu isn't large, but it had something for everyone. I was happy to see a vegetarian entree, which looked delicious. The service wasn't fast, but it was friendly. I will definitely return to see how it develops. ”
“ I'm looking forward to seeing how the space continues to develop, but I was impressed on my first visit. The decor, space, and ambiance is breathtakingly transportive. Went in with a small group for a late dinner. Immediate seating and warm reception. The trip to the table felt like a fun architectural tour of a vintage space. (I've spent perhaps 10 years speculating what the interior of this building could look like). The host that seated us shared a little history and explanations about what was to come. At the table, or server (Laura) greeted us with professional warmth and continued to offer help and education on the space, menu, and history. The food and drink list are limiting, but looks to be (planned to be) updated on a monthly basis. I'm hoping that in the future they might have a desert menu in addition to dinner/lunch. My wife had a cocktail which she enjoyed, while I enjoyed their finite, yet concise beer selection. The house salad was very good (although the addition of garlic in the tomatoes weren't enjoyed by my wife). I had the walleye, well cooked, with a subtle flavor. I would very much like to try more next time. Very impressed, and looking forward to the next time. I also am excited to share future meals and experiences here with friends and family. ”
